FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions

An LDPE Core refers to the Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) material used as the inner core layer sandwiched between two aluminium sheets. It’s known for exceptional flexibility, lightweight properties, recyclability and good durability.

Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP sheets) are lightweight,  durable, and versatile construction materials made of two aluminum sheets bonded to a non-aluminum core. They are widely used for facades, cladding, signage, and interiors due to their weather resistance, aesthetic appeal, and easy installation.

Yes, ACP panels are generally waterproof. The aluminium layers provide a barrier against water penetration. However, proper installation and sealing are crucial to prevent water damage at joints and edges

At AluWall, we use high-quality aluminium alloys in the 3000 series (e.g., 3105, 3003) and 5000 series (e.g., 5005, 5052) for manufacturing ACP sheets, ensuring excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and durability for architectural and industrial applications.

AAMA 2620/2605 is followed. AAMA stands for American Architectural Manufacturers Associations.

The paint of the ACP will peel off in case of the following reasons:

  • Improper cleaning
  • Incorrect Routing
  • Contamination of coil
  • Inappropriate cutting
